Haunting comes to an end…until next year!

Halloween is long over and the creeps here at King’s Krypt yard haunt have gone back into their graves. The haunt is torn down and all  packed away into storage where it will rest until next year. Once again thanks to all who came on Halloween, we greatly appreciate it and be sure to come back next year! Over all we had around 400 visitors on Halloween night. We received roughly $100 in donations for this year’s haunted house,  and although that is nothing compared to the amount of money spent on the haunt, we are happy with what we received and it can only improve considering this was our first year doing a walkthrough.  Pictures of this year’s haunted house ,The Scareshack, will hopefully be put up soon so be on the look out.!

THANK YOU

Thank you to all who visited the haunt tonight. We had well over 300 trick or treaters and the line for The Scareshack haunted house lead into the street at one point in the night. Special thanks to the few who donated, we greatly appreciate your thankfulness , and be sure to come back next year. We had some mishaps with visitors,who disrespected our haunted house……we know who you are, and you ABSOLUTELY will not be allowed in next year. DISRESPECTFUL PATRONS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. THIS TOOK AN ENTIRE YEAR IN PLANNING, COUNTLESS NIGHTS OF HARD WORK, LOTS OF STRESS, AND MONEY TO PUT THIS TOGETHER. TREAT OUR HAUNT AND US WITH RESPECT. THANK YOU FOR EVERYONE WHO STOPPED BY AND SPECIAL THANKS TO THOSE WHO DONATED!!! PICTURES TO COME SOON…

FEAR IS HERE!!!

Due to horrible weather and various other problems  we were not able to open at all this past week……..but Halloween is here and The Scareshack Haunted House at King’s Krypt yard haunt is ready for some willing victims. Come Halloween nigt and walk through the odd, the amazing, and the absolute disgust that lurks inside The Scareshack’s walls . Admission is free, but  donations are accepted and are used to pay for the large cost of building materials,decor, lighting,etc…use for this years haunt. Be sure to drop a few bucks or pennies in one of our donation boxes if you truly enjoyed the experience and appreciate the immense time and effort put into this display. We plan to open around 5:30, and end roughly around 8:00….so be here or be square. End your fall break with a night full of  fright, come see us….we’ve been waiting If weather permits we may open on Sunday also to make up for lost days due to this horrible rain.

Haunt Update

Fall is here, a crispness is in the air, and Halloween is quickly approaching…..  . As you can see this site doesn’t provide too much info, but I will get things up as soon as possible. Also our operation dates for the walkthrough are still undecided, but we will update you when it is all worked out. This year we will be accepting an admission donation meaning that a small donation of one to three dollars will be asked from our attendees. Giving a donation isn’t expected in any way. If you enjoy and appreciate  our display then just feel free to donate a few bucks….or even a few pennies. Please understand that it ISN’T REQUIRED, a portion of the donations will be used to pay for the cost of lumber,paint, and other building materials used to put together this years haunt. The other portion of the donations may be given to a local charity which we still have to decide on. Also we will be needing actors to volunteer  for this years haunt….it will be a terrorific experience to be a part of. More updates to come….hope you’re as excited as we are for the 2009 haunt season!!!
